Changes are underway to Fleet and Warsaw Avenues to create a new bikeway system in your neighbourhood. This type of bikeway traffic calming measures have been proven successful throughout Canada in allowing for cyclist and vehicles to better share the road, improving safety and reducing through traffic.
The traffic calming measures proposed for this street are:
- Change stop signs and place traffic circles at certain intersections
- Retain on-street parking
- Provide curb bump outs between Lindsay and Cambridge
- Construct raised intersection at the Lilac and Warsaw intersection
