Art at the Zedek is delighted to announce our first installation. Photographer Keith Levit’s grid of photographic work relates to the two Jewish synagogues of Toledo. Light, pattern and texture punctuate these images of the once vibrant Sephardi seat of Jewish culture. Professor and artist Leesa Streifler showcases her photo-collages and paintings on Plexiglas. These highlight the importance of the mother child bond and the love and complexity in domestic spaces. Fernando Figowy, trained in Argentina in art and design, showcases his delicate drawing technique in a captured moment of family harmony during Chanukah. Join us for the opening and artist talks with light refreshments, starting at 7 p.m. Exhibition continues until July 9.
